Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a television arbitrator from Cuba on Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father when she was 2 years old, relocated to Miami and joined her parents. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the presenter and host of Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado", one of the most popular Spanish-language shows that the channel airs. The show was nominated for an Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in the year 2015. It was in 2015 as the highest in all key demos. Polo is a Cuban-born American and was born April 11, 1959. She attended Florida International University and graduated with a degree in political science. In the following years she was awarded her PhD degree in law at the University of Miami. After earning her PhD from University of Miami in law and working in the law profession in Miami city for over 20 years. Polo made her first appearance on TV in 2001 as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her expertise in law was also utilized in other court shows. Literature Works and Accolades Her novel from 1958 Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in the year 1960. Polo is a breast cancer survivor who regularly raises funds for the charity and also speaks at various events. She's always been an advocate for LGBT issues. She graduated in 1987 from law school at the University of Miami School of Law and a Florida Bar member.
